Ruapotaka-Mini Olympics
On Friday the 19th, our school hosted our own Mini Olympics just like the real one but it wasn't.The whole school where split up in to 16 countries, I was in China and our leader was Mele. Me and 2 little juniors were the flag bearers. At the begging of the opening ceremony, the Olympic anthem was played. Two teams went with one of the teachers to go to one of the Olympic activities.
We ended it off with a closing ceremony, when Mrs. Vickers thanked all the parents for coming. Before it was closing, we all sang the New Zealand National Anthem.
