For the past whole week my class have been working on a book and the author of the book, which is called GooseBumps. My group done it about the author who was called R.L Stine. He is pretty old and he also wear's glasses.
I done the character study and my friend called Matali did the books he had wrote and Gloria done it on when did he First invent GooseBumps. I think my slide was the best out of all of them, I also done the title with slappy the dummy for the book. When we had finished the writing on our Chromebooks we had to write something off one of our slide and when we had finished that we had to put it on a black piece of cardboard that 2 girls painted. This boy called Samuel was good at drawing so that made it easy for his group to get pictures, He drawed Slappy The Dummy, Frankenstein and This Zombie looking kind of thing.
At the end it looked very cool with everyone's work that got glued on.

Touch Rugby Lessons
It was cool getting taught how to play the real proper ways of playing touch, and some skills to do while in an actual touch game against other people. We have learnt lots of skills for those three weeks and they all might help us in the future.
The only proper way that I learnt was Plant and that is when you put the ball under your legs and not roll it, just leave it in one spot and step over it then step back. Then we had a race in 3 teams, Our coach Trevor gave the 3 groups a ball each and we had to pass it to the person next to you and the person had to run to the front of the line and pass to the next person. Then we done the same one but we had to zigzag between every person in line and pass it to the next one. Then we played a passing game which is sort of like Pig, Donkey or whatever you want to call it and if you drop the ball you have to go in the middle.
I liked being taught all of those things because of coach taught us the best games to do when you are training for touch and also our coach was funny. Thanks to Trevor we all know how to play proper touch.

UB40
The UB40 had made lots of songs and some sound like reggae songs to me a bit just like how Bob Marley sings his song. I also like the beats of their music and how it’s a group that makes that beat and someone sings the song. There are 6 people in the band and most of them speak the same language and come from the same country, the both country they come from are Birmingham and the United Kingdom. The band started advertising themselves before they even owned any instruments. Posters of UB40 were put up all over Birmingham by two of the founding members, Ali Campbell and Brian Travers.
The 6 people’s name Ali Campbell, Duncan Campbell, Robin Campbell, Astro, Horman Hassan, Brian Travers, Maxi Priest, Earl Falconer, James Brown and Michael Virtue. The best song they have ever recorded in history is called Red Red Wine and this is the link to the song (Red Red Wine).
I hope you liked reading about my favorite band and how I got in to them.

New Zealand Celebrates Guy Fawkes
New Zealand collectively celebrated Guy Fawkes last night with Police and the Fire Service dealing with dozens of calls across the country. Three people were injured by fireworks two of them were seriously. Firefighters responded to more than twice the number of fireworks call-outs than last year in what they say was a very disappointing night. Guy Fawkes occurs on the 5th November each year. Fireworks are only allowed to be purchased by those over 18 and stores can only sell them for four days.
